The rooftop tent is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The mattress is thick enough for a good night’s sleep, and the tent offers plenty of ventilation, which is essential on warm summer nights. Of course, you still need to bring a pillow, a sleeping bag, and some essential camping gear to make your trip unforgettable.

The first night in the rooftop tent was pure magic. While we slept high above the ground, we were enchanted by the sounds of the forest. The rustling of leaves, the soft whisper of the wind, the cheerful singing of birds, and a breathtaking sunset completed the experience. From the height of the tent, we felt safe and could enjoy the beautiful view directly from our bed in the morning.

Unfortunately, the second night brought a heavy storm, making the balmy summer evening a distant memory. Yet, we felt safe in the rooftop tent and slept surprisingly well. Even in the midst of the storm, our campsite remained a comfortable and cozy haven.

Having breakfast in the open air, with a view of the surrounding forest, was one of the highlights of our trip. The Defender had plenty of space to carry all our camping gear, and setting up a small camp with cooking equipment was easy and enjoyable.
